DescriptionThis qualification is designed to build on core skills and knowledge in the Tourism industry gained in Certificate II in Tourism. The course uses AFTA study materials and students complete the national ATPP examinations for each competency. Students will need to set aside time for extra independent study. Examination re-sits will not incur an extra fee. Electives and course days may be subject to change.
PathwaysFurther Education Pathway - Certificate IV in Tourism Career Pathway - Travel Agent, Tourism Operator, Tourism Retail Sales Agent.
Entry RequirementsStudents must enrol concurrently in or have completed Certificate II in Tourism. Students should have a genuine interest in developing skills and knowledge related to working in the Travel industry.
Other RequirementsAs a part of the application students will need to attend an interview. This is their chance to ask questions and demonstrate their interest, enthusiasm and potential to successfully complete the course.

Students attend this course two days a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Week 2, Term 1 (Tuesday 4 & Thursday 6 February Certificate III and Thursday February 6 Certificate II) Full year 2 days per week for both certificates or Thursdays for Certificate II.

Days completed in Certificate II Tourism can count towards the total.
