DescriptionThis qualification will focus on the introductory skills a Plumbing Apprentice would require. It has been designed by the Plumbing Association of South Australia and is offered in conjunction with Unley High School. Students will learn skills that have industry relevance and will also undertake their ‘White Card’ as part of the course.
PathwaysFurther Education Pathway - Successful completion of this course will allow students to apply for the full year Doorways 2 Construction Plumbing Plus course the following year. Career Pathway - Successful completion of this course may lead to a school based apprenticeship or full time apprenticeship within the Plumbing Industry.
Entry RequirementsStudents must be interested in pursuing a career in the Plumbing Industry.
Other RequirementsStudents will be required to wear correct safety equipment, including steel capped boots, long pants and Hi-vis shirt.
