DescriptionThis course is a continuation of Certificate I in Plumbing. The course has been developed in conjunction with the Master Plumbers Association of South Australia and aims to provide an entry point for students wishing to gain an apprenticeship. The course comprises classroom based study and workshop and outdoor practical activities. This course has a strong emphasis on safety and will give students the necessary skills and knowledge to apply for apprenticeships.
PathwaysFurther Education Pathway - Students can apply to TAFE to continue Full Time Pre Voc Course or Apprenticeship. Career Pathway - Successful completion of this course may lead to a full time apprenticeship within the Plumbing Industry.
Entry RequirementsStudents must be interested in pursuing a career in the Plumbing Industry and have successfully completed Certificate 1 in Construction.
Other RequirementsStudents will be required to wear correct safety equipment, including steel capped boots, long pants and Hi-vis shirt.
