DescriptionA Certificate III in Fitness will enable students to enter the fitness industry as a fitness instructor or gym instructor. Each student studies industry approved fitness theory which is current, comprehensive and will provide a solid foundation for success as a personal trainer. The course is structured around real life client progression, which shows students a more logical and relevant study path helping them grasp concepts faster. VET at Certificate III level can be used as a student’s 4th TAS subject to achieve an ATAR to apply to university.
PathwaysFurther Education Pathway - Certificate IV in Fitness; Diploma of Fitness. Career Pathway - Opportunity for employment as group fitness instructor in health club/ gym, studio or group fitness.
Other RequirementsStudents must be prepared to complete 1-2 hours each week of eCampus learning in their own time. Students must attend 90% of the classes for successful completion. Students are required to obtain their first aid certificate before the end of the course. Bring own practical gear, sports shoes and water bottle. DCSI clearance required for any student who turns 18 before the end of the course. Students need their won device Mac, Windows or Ipad.

Students can choose to attend on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. Sessions will run from 9:00am - 12:00pm or 1:30pm - 4:30pm. Unley will confirm session times and contact home schools for preferences in term 4.
