DescriptionThis course is designed for students wishing to develop an excellent skill base for gaining entry to higher certificates, completion of SACE, and employment in an office. Competencies will be delivered in our Simulated Business.
PathwaysFurther Education Pathway - Certificate III and IV in Business Administration, Certificate IV in Business. Career Pathway - Office Receptionist, Administration Officer, Office Assistant, Clerical Officer, Data Entry Operator and Information Desk Clerk.
Entry RequirementsWork must also be completed in students’ own time. Students must have keyboard skills using correct keyboard technique. Students should have a working knowledge of • files and folders • sending and receiving email with attachments • using a web browser to access web-based information
Other RequirementsStudent must attend an information session. Students must meet language, literacy and numeracy requirements.
