DescriptionThe Program has been designed to offer students a viable pathway to a career in aviation. Although not incorporating VET units of competency, Aviation focuses on the skills and knowledge necessary to begin a career in this industry. The Australian Science and Mathematics school has state of the art equipment including an industry standard multi-functional Synthetic Flight Simulator. The program is a rich and powerful mix of Mathematics, Physics, Physiology, Meteorology, Geography, Psychology and Literacy. Students will be provided with ample opportunities to critically approach and analyse issues, investigations, conventional learning and complement these with research and practical activities.

Entry RequirementsStudents must have passing grades in Stage 1 Mathematics and Physics. Stage 1 students may be considered if their Year 10 grades are at a high standard.
Other RequirementsStudents will be required to attend an information session in Term 4 2019.
