DescriptionThe Certificate III in Horsemanship is an Industry Qualification which is open to students in both Year 11 and 12. It is an excellent preparation for a variety of animal-related and, more specifically, equine careers. It consists of a practical component (completed at Urrbrae AHS) and a theoretical component which can be completed online with assistance and supervision from our staff.
PathwaysFurther Education Pathway - This course will be of benefit to students seeking entry to other higher education courses such as Veterinary Science or animal-related courses at TAFESA. Career Pathway - Various careers in the equine industry, Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Racing Industry
Entry RequirementsStudents must be at least 15 years of age and have adequate literacy and numeracy skills. They must want to learn more and work with horses. They must attend an information session in Term 4
Other RequirementsProspective students will be required to attend an information session and interview in Term 4
